Fahd Mir Jan There's nothing to correct here. Language is not defined by the grammarian. It is defined by the people who speak it. If it comes naturally to the people to call their language Bahasa instead of Bahasa Indo/Melayu etc, then there is nothing wrong with it. Same thing happens with English grammarians where they disagree with people who end sentences with prepositions. The fact is that it is part of the language. Can't restrict language.
Arief Wibowo Fahd Mir Jan, I afraid you misunderstood my point. When people refer to the Indonesian language as "Bahasa", it's just like people referring to English language as "Language". It's okay for those that understood it, causes trouble to others.
