Arief Wibowo Eh, I just noticed, "straff" must also be in Dutch, because in Indonesian school, when don't do homeworks, you get "strap" (considering "envelope" → "amplop", "strap" must come from "straff")

Zev Brȹk All I learned from Swedish syntax is that all Swedes are madmen. OK, Victor, is it something like "The gods punish some people at once" with "somliga" in primary position because you're exaggerating it?

Arief Wibowo I looked up "somliga" in wiktionary, turns out it's a plural form of "somlig", meaning "some" (like English, it could imply "people", but not always)
