But as Victor said there is no word as "bygg" in swedish but there is "byggnad" meaning "building". If I was to directly transelate Ugis sentence it would be something like this: "We need a build for a stand! No, we need a buildtostand (byggnadstillstånd-building permit)!

Uģi Sanat I was sure (even though my Svenka is rather poor) the sentence was sort of like a pun, where "bygg till stånd" and "byggtillstånd" are homonyms but have different meanings. byggtillstånd is a building permit and from what I've learned, "bygg till stånd" is a slang for 'getting to an erection'

Victor Wåhlstrand Skärström Uģi, well, I've never heard of the construction "bygg till stånd", and if so, I'm quite sure it would've been "bygga till stånd", as a verbal phrase. But yes, "stånd" means erection.
