Mikkel Ramzuiv Pittmann Wilson From what I can tell, both nabra´c and zapobiega´c are verbs, since wiki. says that polish verbs end in ´c
Andy Ayres Just a hunch, but I don't think dajmy is 2nd person singular. If Polish conjugation is like Czech (-me), it should be 1st person plural.

Andy Ayres Weird, I'd refreshed several times, but only the last time revealed the post! Wordreference's Polish dictionary gives dać się nabrać as a set phrase: to be tricked. If cognate with Czech se, się could be the marker of a reciprocal or reflexive verb. So: don't be tricked/don't fool yourself?

I put "upadkom + wiktionary" into google and it says that it's the dative plural of "fall (loss of greatness or status)". No luck with zapobiegać so far though - will have to try some other dictionaries.
So as an attempt: "let's not be fooled/let's not fool ourselves, falls can [zapobiegać]"
