Ed Blankenship Well it's one ending and one root. The root I can't seem to find has a letter different from another root and I'm not sure f that's the meaning and it's just a sound change in declension

But the case ending on "tea" confuses me... and the root of the last word doesn't match "life/live" but it's similar....

The case ending on tea is probably wrong, because I couldn't remember it exactly. As for the last word, I found both амөдралын and амьдралын. I decided to stick with the former because the soft sign didn't sound right to me somehow.

Yeah, Дайте, I wasn't sure of цаийн as the gen of "tea"... I would've expected тайын (or тайин if you lump й in with the palatalized/soft consonants). And as for амөдралын, yeah everywhere I looked, I kept finding амьдралын. Even when I put амөдралын into an online dictionary, it was like "Did you mean амьдралын?" so... those were my confusions... ok... give me a few minutes (maybe like 30) to figure out the next round
