Christian James Meredith That phrase seems really familiar now that I think about it. I think I've heard of the translated version before (explained to me because Javanese goes over my head faster than an F14 tomcat).
I'll go for a bit of a creative phrase as an English speaker, although most British people will probably get it immediately unfortunately (sorry, I can't think of any good Australian native ones! We're too boring!):

The key to these things is normally on the second word, on everything minus the start of the word. So skin and blISTER, merchant bANKER.
It's a cruel one I think, even English speakers sometimes don't realise the connection, but once you've seen it it's very easy. For example, I have literally no idea what Victor has said there about Adam and Eve's didgeridoo.
