Дайте Нефть Из Баку
Дайте Нефть Из Баку Here you go. It's a bit long, but well worth it. I'll read you tomorrow morning GMT+1.

Për che rason ël Pò a l'è anrabiasse
a l'ha ampinì soe val con dl'aqua àota
dësbland i pont, le strà, le cà, le piasse
quatand sità e campagne co' soa pàota?

La rason l'è che ël Pòa l'ha vist rivé
coj dla Lega che an man tnisìo 'd le ampole
pëe porteje via l'aqua al Pian dël Re
e a l'ha tacà a criè: “Chi a son 'ste ciole?"
Marius Vincenzii Dennischter
Marius Vincenzii Dennischter That exceeds our word limit, amico...
Wrik Chatterjee
Wrik Chatterjee Occitan?
Дайте Нефть Из Баку
Дайте Нефть Из Баку Better? And no, it's not Occitan.
Wrik Chatterjee
Wrik Chatterjee Wallon? Piedmontese?
Marius Vincenzii Dennischter
Marius Vincenzii Dennischter much better, :)
we now limit the game into 50 words to avoid "everlasting round"
Wrik, I guess we still can work it out without knowing what language is that :p
Wrik Chatterjee
Wrik Chatterjee Besides, I'm fairly sure that this is Piedmontese
Arief Wibowo
Arief Wibowo Happy 1st anniversary to our game of Språkspelet (or Sprogspelet)!!!
Malin Elisabeth Nilsson, thank you for the game! :D

HERE'S TO ANOTHER YEAR OF STJÄLCURIING!
Anna Robbins
Anna Robbins Wow, I've already missed Andy's round :P Congrats, Дайте! And happy anniversary to our beloved Språkspelet!
Sarah Karoline
Sarah Karoline I'm supposed to be asleep, but....

For what reason/*why* has someone been angry with Po, having filled its valleys with high water,
covering the bridges, the streets, the houses, the piazzas
[ ] towns and countryside with its mud?

The reason is that Po has seen some of these
leagues/associations which hold *have* ampoules to hand,
in order to take away the water from Pian Del Re
and has [tacá] to shouting: "who are [ ] the [ciole]?"

Sarah Karoline And those were my resources, which I name to aid overnight Sprogspeelars.

Now I shall sleep...
Anna Robbins
Anna Robbins I'll stjälcuri off Sarah :P

or what reason/*why* has someone been angry with Po, having filled its valleys with high water,
covering the bridges, the streets, the houses, the piazzas
[Filling] towns and countryside with its mud?

The reason is that Po has seen [it] [?]
[That of the League] which [holds/has] ampoules to hand,
in order to take away the water from [the] Pian Del Re
and [to] [have] [tacá] to shouting: "who [has] their [ ] [ciole]?"
Дайте Нефть Из Баку
Дайте Нефть Из Баку Nice first try, Sarah. And yes, it's Piedmontese.
Here's the correction. Errors are put in brackets, ellipses mean something is missing, untranslated words are left within double quotes:

For what reason has [someone] [been] angry [with] [...] Po, having filled its valleys with high water,
covering the bridges, the streets, the houses, the [piazzas]
[Filling] towns and countryside with its mud?

The reason is that [...] Po has seen [it]
[That] of the League [which] hold[s] ampoules [to] [...] hand[...],
in order to take away [the] [...] water [from] [the] Pian Del Re
and [to] [have] "tacá" [to] shouting: "who [has] [their] "ciole"?"

We really need some colour coding to make corrections easier. Arief! Hack into Facebook and bring us colours!
Arief Wibowo
Arief Wibowo Дайте Нефть Из Баку, great idea! :D
But first I'd have to hack into Facebook to make tagging you (and a bunch of other hard-to-tag Språkspelers) easier first... ;)

(hoping Facebook would read this comment... Hahaha)
Sarah Karoline
Sarah Karoline Дайте Here is version 2 :)
The words marked * are those I've changed.

For what reason *is Po angry, having filled its valleys with high water, *destroying the bridges, the streets, the houses, the *squares
*covering towns and countryside with its mud?

The reason is that Po has seen *some of the league coming, *holding ampoules *in *their *handS,
in order to take away water *at Pian Del Re
and * it *took to shouting: "who *are *these *stupid people?"

---
Musings
*Google Images showed me pictures of cocktail sausages when I looked up "ciole". Taking a completely wild guess, I decided either GI is wrong or this a pejorative term.

*I thought "desbland" looks more like "destroying" and "quatando" could possibly be "covering". I can't find these words in the three dictionaries...
*Evil laughter is emitted alla casa di Dajte.*
Дайте Нефть Из Баку
Дайте Нефть Из Баку Corrections:

For what reason is [...] Po angry, having filled its valleys with high water, [destroying] the bridges, the streets, the houses, the squares
[covering] towns and countryside with its mud?
The reason is that [...] Po has seen [some] of the [l]eague coming, holding ampoules in their hands,
in order to take away [...] water at Pian Del Re
and it [took] [to] shouting: "who are these [stupid people]?"

"Dësbland" could be translated as "shatter to pieces, preferably in a very cartoonesque way and waking up the whole neighbourhood". "To destroy" is fine, as is "to cover" for "quatando". You ony need to work on the tenses.
"Ciola" is also Apulian for "sausage" (and another similarly-shaped appendix you don't want to see on the grill), so I'm afraid GI won't give you stellar results in this regard. The Piedmontese meaning is a bit stronger than "stupid person". Sort out the rest and I'll give you the translation anyway.
Marius Vincenzii Dennischter
Marius Vincenzii Dennischter For what reason why Po is angry, having filled its valleys with high water, sinking the bridges, the streets, the houses, the squares
flooding towns and countryside with its mud?

Po = name of a river?
Sarah Karoline
Sarah Karoline Stjälcuring the possibility from Vincensiu that "Po" is a river now makes "el" make sense as "the" :)

For what reason is THE Po angry, having filled its valleys with high water, destroyED the bridges, the streets, the houses, the squares
coverED towns and countryside with its mud?

The reason is that THE Po has seen THOSE of the *League coming, holding ampoules in their hands,
in order to take away THE water at Pian Del Re
and it BEGAN shouting: "who are these IDIOTIC people?"
---
If "Lega" refers to "Lega Nord" it could left as "Lega"
Дайте Нефть Из Баку
Дайте Нефть Из Баку And the round goes to Sarah Karoline! Congratulations. :)
Here's the full song: https://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=3892760726412
And here the lyrics with an Italian translation: http://www.antiwarsongs.org/canzone.php?lang=it&id=46451
It refers to the flooding of 2000 and postulates that the Po overflowed because it was fed up with the xenophobic Lega Nord and their ridiculous pseudo-celtic ceremonies.
Sarah Karoline
Sarah Karoline Oh, la mia prima vittoria in 2000 anni :D haha
*Testing my listening skills*

I was wondering what it was about. I came across Lega Nord, but failed to notice Po was a river. For that I must thank Vincensiu :)
Sarah Karoline
Sarah Karoline I'll go text-hunting at lunchtime when I'm home.

*Seeks the most complicated text in the most complicated script she can find..* :P
Sarah Karoline
Sarah Karoline Now that I'm home, I can find a text. It's coming shortly. Sorry for the delay :D
